Does cold have a smell?

It's freezing outside today! The day started out normally, but then we got a rain storm (they have those here?!?) and it got cold, then colder... It's crazy! My teeth were chattering on the way to dinner tonight. And it smells like christmas... which is why i'm wondering if it's possible for cold to have a smell. Not that i can smell much because the little cold i came with seems to be getting worse instead of better... joy. So homework is slightly out of control. I'm sitting on my bed with tissues, a water bottle, millions of binders scattered everywhere and a cough drop in my mouth. Ugh... I've got the nice balloon headache too.
